Tools for Successful Advocacy

Public Policy Resource Library

The AACI Public Policy Resource Library was established as part of the presidential initiative of Dr. Roy A. Jensen, director of The University of Kansas Cancer Center. The Public Policy Resource Library provides a platform for cancer centers and likeminded organizations to highlight local- and state-level public health policy. By sharing resources, including talking points and legislation enacted across the U.S., the resource library aims to foster collaboration within the cancer advocacy community, promote cancer prevention, and spur the development of policies that will improve the lives of Americans through lowered cancer incidence and mortality.

Federal Legislation Tracker

The Legislation Tracker provides the latest information on not only what is happening with a particular bill in Congress, but also tracks efforts by AACI and likeminded organizations to advance the legislation. All featured bills are endorsed by AACI’s Board of Directors. The legislation tracker is maintained by AACI staff to offer real-time updates on co-sponsorship numbers, committee activity, and more.
